With just one month remaining, we are anxious about the upcoming Marlin Awards weekend of events that are scheduled for October 28th, 2010 - October 30th, 2010.Nassau's very own gospel wonder, Monty G, has made history, being the first ever Bahamian to receive 20 nominations for the upcoming Award show in the genre reggae and dancehall.
Following close behind with 11 nominations is the Trinidad and Tobago native, Nigel Lewis who has merged soca and gospel for the younger listeners.
This year's weekend of events promises to be one that is guaranteed to provide entertainment and fun to all attendees. The Marlin Events will include, The Marlin Summit, The Marlin Workshops, The Marlin Fest and the anticipated Marlin Awards Show. Local and international artist will grace the stage along with our very own Roots N Culture Team!
