Green Hype Success!!!

I Nosey parker was out this week and I start this post with two words -Green Hype- The local show saw 14 of the most popular Bahamian artists performing their hits to a maximum capacity crowd.

Security was tight and even tweezers and combs were frowned upon by security. The police force was out in there numbers providing a safe atmosphere in which to enjoy the show...Though the performances did not begin till an hour later than it was slated, it was all good and patrons milled about socializing and enjoying their Heinekens and each other.

Upcomer KJ started the show with some mellow waxings about love ...but it was performances from Raquel Oliver, Savage Bull, Smurf, Padrino, Daddy Whites and the Whitehouse crew as well as Mdeez [who totally killed it with Screws Loose] that had the place jumping.

Everybody who was not @ best of the best in Miami was repping for the 242. The pride in their faces was very evident...The 242 was definitely standing up ... Spotted was of course many of the important producers making the 242 look good... Buffboo's, Nik Barnes, Stypz, Zolton, Bahama Boyz, and many others... If we missed you we aint trying to diss you...Of course the entire Roots and Culture Family were in the house having a ball...Big ups to Sky Bahamas...Big ups to Ncity, Goldenchild, Kilo Grams and Sammy Starr who are currently repping the country in a mega way in Miami at Best of the Best.

Of course this week was a wonderful one filled with events that were both hot and haute. The Little Pink Party deserves honorary mention along with the very bougie seafood fest... and speaking of haute...Sex & The City ladies...see it with a friend ... Prince of Persia came out on Friday and deserves two thumbs up just because Jake Gyllanhaal is so fine and is totally rocking that bearded barbarian look... at any rate we here at Rnc hope that you are all having a great Sunday and we would also like to encourage y'all to read a book and brush up on your spelling... to, too and two are three different words...get familiar...Nosey Parker out...
