Someone Call Animal Control because the Dogs are Out and Attacking!!!
By Matysha Maura
Most recently known for that “little” Grammy Award winning song “Who Let the Dogs Out”, Baha Men are back and ready to attack with a vengeance. This past weekend has been nothing but “surprising and exhilarating” according to lead singer, Rik Carey.
Baha Men made a visit to Little Rock, Arkansas where they had a concert, in-store autograph signings and television appearances. Thursday (April 29th) started off with a performance and interview on Goodmorning Arkansas then the guys visited a local Children’s Hospital and ended the day with an in-store signing, where they got mauled over by a stampede of screaming fans. Friday afternoon (April 30th) Rik threw the first pitch at a AAA Baseball game. Along with that he, Leroy & Dyson put on a mini show for the crowd by doing the Limbo….ofcourse we know who did the best *Cough Cough* His name rhymes with…mesoy lol Afterwards the entire group performed for a massive crowd at their first concert of the year where they performed classic hits like “Jump”, “Move It Like This”, “Who Let the Dogs Out” and not so popular songs like “Go” along with others.
Baha Men’s “Go”, which can be purchased on ITunes, is the lead single off of their upcoming album slated to be released in Mid 2010. The Stypz track is giving me LIFE right now and rubbing me in the right places. Nice song but is it hot enough to be a “HIT”? I think so.
